Porcelain veneers
Porcelain veneers are thin shells of porcelain placed over the front surfaces of teeth, giving them a natural appearance.
Porcelain veneers are artistically designed custom made, thin shells of porcelain that are bonded on to teeth to improve esthetics. Porcelain veneers can create straight, healthy looking teeth without the use of orthodontics, can close spaces between teeth and can improve the overall appearance of the dentition.
The procedure usually takes two visits. During the first visit the dentist removes a small amount of enamel (the outermost layer of the tooth), takes an impression and fabricates temporary veneers for the patient to wear for about two weeks while the laboratory technician artistically creates the veneers. At the second appointment your veneers are bonded to your teeth enhancing your smile.
